New Game Time: Transistor

Engineering has occupied most of my mind for the past few years, leaving only a few of my cycles left for video games. In fact, I’ve actually lost some of my interest in video games; often times the tangibility of the software and hardware I can create makes those things more interesting to me.

But one game has caught my eye recently: Transistor. So I picked it up and started to play it. I’m only through the first 30 or so minutes of the game but it’s honestly a very beautifully made game. Check out the trailer below:

The blend of art, music, background and unique gameplay mechanics has suckered my into putting some of my time into it. If you have some time and some spare money, I highly recommend checking this game out.
