Wikichip

Working at amd/arm was super cool, but one downside about for a semiconductor company is there aren’t as many things you can just look up online. There are less open source technologies used (if any), so it can be a little bit of a bummer sometimes.

This is why wikichip is great! A bunch of information about amd/intel/arm’s chips is online in one place you can search.

It even has the codenames that we used to use internally. The Zen architecture page was fun to read through: it was under development while I was an intern / full time employee there.

I directly worked on the sTRX4 processors (codename starship): https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/packages/socket_strx4
